DAUM, Nancy - montura realizada por Régina BENVENISTI, orfebre de París. Pequeño jarrón alargado de cuerpo curvo, de cristal decapado al ácido y esmaltado con un motivo de acianos. La parte trasera presenta una decoración lisa con un pájaro sobre un lago. Firmado en oro bajo la base; el cuello presenta relieves dorados. Se presenta sobre una montura de plata decorada con una valla de campos y flores, firmada con el punzón de orfebre. Peso bruto: 61,90 gramos, 18K, 750°/00 Alto: 4,8 cm; Largo: 5,5 cm; presenta desgranados y grietas. Nota: Régina BENVENISTI tenía su taller en el número 8 de la calle Martel; su punzón fue grabado el 4 de octubre de 1893. La elección de «Ascanio» con sus iniciales es un guiño a la novela sobre Benvenuto CELLINI, escrita por Alexandre DUMAS y publicada en 1843.
