Rembrandt Harmensz. van Rijn (1606, Leiden - Ámsterdam, 1669), San Jerónimo en una habitación oscura. Grabado al aguafuerte con punta seca sobre papel verjurado. (1642). 16,2 x 18,9 cm (hoja). Bartsch 105; White/Boon 105 II (de II); Hinterding/Rutgers (The New Hollstein) 212 II (de III). Una buena impresión de la época del artista, correspondiente al segundo estado de New Hollstein, con la cortina ondeando y el óvalo completo en la contraventana derecha, pero antes de que se ampliara el respaldo de la silla en primer plano a la derecha. Con un amplio margen de hasta 5 mm alrededor de la imagen. – La hoja presenta ligeras manchas debidas al paso del tiempo. La esquina superior izquierda ha sido restaurada con maestría. El margen derecho se ha completado fuera de la imagen. El reverso presenta pliegues alisados. Por lo demás, se encuentra en buen estado. Tributación: tributación diferencial (IVA: régimen de margen).
