SOULAGES Pierre, según Según el boceto T28, creado inicialmente en 1967. Tapiz de lana marcado con «Soulages» y el monograma P.F. del tejedor en la trama, en la parte inferior izquierda, y que lleva en el reverso una cinta con las siguientes inscripciones: «Basado en el boceto de Soulages (¡SIC!)» Taller Pinton Frères, tejedor 101 x 58 cm Historia: En 1967, en el marco de la remodelación de sus Boeing 707, Air France encargó 37 tapices basados en bocetos de artistas contemporáneos, destinados a las salas de primera clase. Entre los artistas seleccionados figuran, entre otros, Pierre Alechinsky, Sonia Delaunay, Alfred Manessier y Pierre Soulages. El tapiz diseñado a partir del boceto de Soulages, con la referencia T28, fue adquirido por Air France a la Galerie de France y tejido por Pinton Frères. Tras su desaparición, Air France se planteó encargar una nueva versión a Pinton, pero finalmente desistió, ya que, al parecer, el ejemplar original fue localizado hacia 1970. Este se presentó en 2003 con motivo de la exposición «On Air» en el Museo de Artes Decorativas de París. Nuestro tapiz, también tejido por Pinton Frères, reproduce el mismo diseño que el ejemplar de Air France, pero en tonos diferentes. Procedencia: Ader, París, subasta del 1 de junio de 2018
