RAYBAUD, MAXIME: Memorias sobre Grecia para la historia de la Guerra de Independencia. París, 1824-1825 Primera edición, completa en dos volúmenes. En 8º, encuadernación contemporánea en piel sobre tapas marmoladas. Texto limpio y nítido. Completo: [15], 528 p., [2], 503 p., y tres mapas desplegables tal y como se indica. Precioso exlibris del Château de Orneson en la guarda delantera. En general, en estado casi perfecto; un ejemplar precioso y en buen estado de conservación. Según Atabey, este es uno de los mejores libros sobre la Guerra de Independencia de Grecia. Raybaud realizó varios viajes a Grecia entre 1821 y 1828, cuando finalmente se estableció en Patras y fundó el periódico *Courier d’Orient*. Fue uno de los oficiales franceses enviados a Grecia por el Comité Griego de París en 1825, en el momento más crítico de la lucha. Una obra muy filhelénica. Referencias: Atabey 1014, Blackmer 1398
