Fotografía imperial de gabinete firmada por Antonín Dvořák, dirigida al compositor Leone Sinigaglia Destacado compositor checo (1841-1904) de música orquestal y de cámara, conocido sobre todo por su Sinfonía n.º 9, «Del Nuevo Mundo». Retrato de gran formato (6,75 x 9,5) de Dvořák en una distinguida pose de medio cuerpo, firmado en el reverso con tinta: «Antonín Dvořák... 19 3/7 00», con una dedicatoria al compositor italiano Leone Sinigaglia. Publicado por Jan Vavruska, de Pisek, Checoslovaquia. En buen estado, con algunas manchas en la imagen y marcas dispersas y pérdidas de papel en las esquinas y el borde superior del reverso, lo que no afecta en absoluto a la nitidez de la caligrafía. A partir de 1900, Sinigaglia trabajó en Praga con Dvořák, un periodo en el que aprendió a aplicar técnicas clásicas al arreglo de canciones populares.
