Dístico latino en el margen inferior: «Cum lepus ad folii strepitum paveatque trematque, / Adscribi poterit iure Pavor lepori» (puesto que la liebre se asusta y tiembla ante el más mínimo susurro de una hoja, con razón se le atribuirá el Miedo a la liebre).
