Dimensiones: 27,3 x 20,5 cm En un paisaje dominado por una roca, el águila, jefa de las aves, se abalanza sobre el ejército de los cuadrúpedos liderado por el león, mientras que el grifo, el gallo, las aves zancudas y las rapaces se enfrentan al toro, el caballo, el asno, el camello y el lobo. Por encima de la refriega, el murciélago, mitad pájaro, mitad bestia, espera a ver qué bando se impondrá: la moraleja de la fábula condena el oportunismo de quienes cambian de bando según las circunstancias.
