La presencia de una firma completa grabada en la propia herramienta da testimonio de un maestro reconocido por su gremio y orgulloso de su arte. Los yunques antiguos firmados constituyen hoy en día piezas de extrema rareza en el mercado de las artes decorativas y las herramientas antiguas, objetos que se sitúan en la encrucijada de la historia de las técnicas, la historia social y la historia del arte hispánico.
