MARIONETA ANTROPOMÓRFICA - Nigeria - Ogoni Primera mitad del siglo XX. Madera, pigmentos azules, rojos y amarillos. Dimensiones: 89 cm (figura femenina). Personaje femenino con un peinado compuesto por dos trenzas que caen a ambos lados del rostro, y con una línea roja que resalta la parte superior de la frente. Las cejas están dibujadas en negro, la nariz es ligeramente respingona y el rostro está pintado de blanco (caolín). Sostiene en las manos un peine y un espejo. El cuerpo, cilíndrico, también está pintado de blanco con líneas negras en el torso, la espalda y las piernas. Su mandíbula parece desmontable, una característica que se encuentra a menudo en las máscaras y estatuas ogoni. Está colocada sobre un zócalo redondo, a su vez sostenido por un poste.
