Tapiz flamenco del siglo XVII. "Historia de Alejandro Magno" Realizado en lana. La escena se corresponde con una pasaje de la vida de Alejandro Magno, célebre conquistador macedonio, relacionado con un sacrificio o consulta al oráculo antes de una campaña militar. Alejandro aparece arrodillado, probablemente en un acto de reverencia. Frente a él, un grupo de personajes con ropajes solemnes (posiblemente sacerdotes o dignatarios) le entregan objetos rituales o simbólicos. En el altar central, los gestos y la presencia de un toro al fondo refuerzan la idea de un acto de carácter religioso o sacrificial. Medidas: 330x310 cm.
