GRAN RECIPIENTE RITUAL CHINO DE BRONCE DE ESTILO ARCAICO PARA ALIMENTOS, «GUI», DINASTÍAS YUAN/MING recipiente globular comprimido que se eleva desde una base escalonada hasta un borde acampanado, con una estrecha banda fundida alrededor del cuerpo que representa dragones kui estilizados sobre un fondo liewen, por encima de una banda ondulada en la base, todo ello dividido por un par de asas chilong; el bronce presenta una pátina de tono chocolate oscuro; soporte de madera, 37,5 cm de ancho. Procedencia: El VII marqués de Downshire (1894-1989). Desde entonces, ha pasado de generación en generación dentro de la familia.
