Kobako de madera lacada, Japón, principios del periodo Edo (1603-1868) De forma romboidal, decorada sobre un fondo negro y ligeramente nashiji con un motivo en hiramaki e or y sabi nuri que representa dos mariposas enfrentadas, que recuerda al kamon del clan Hōjō. Los laterales y el interior son de laca nashiji y mura nashiji. El borde de la caja está ribeteado con plomo. En el interior hay una etiqueta de colección con un comentario. Debajo de la caja hay una etiqueta de la colección del Dr. Mène. Longitud: 11,2 x 7 cm Signos de desgaste, pequeño desperfecto en la laca en la parte inferior.
