Sanson d'Abbeville (Nicolas). Ducado y gobierno de Bretaña. 1650. Interesante mapa de mediados del siglo XVII, 42,5 x 55 cm, retocado a color. Nicolas Sanson d'Abbeville, nacido en Abbeville en 1600, está considerado uno de los fundadores de la cartografía francesa; llamado la atención del cardenal de Richelieu por la precisión de sus trabajos, fue presentado al rey Luis XIII, quien lo nombró geógrafo ordinario del rey. También fue profesor de geografía de Luis XIII y Luis XIV. El mapa se encuentra en buen estado, con un pequeño desgarro en el margen.
