Mesa de escritura. China, dinastía Qing, siglo XIX. Teca y caoba. Firmado en la parte posterior de un cajón. Herrajes y tiradores metálicos. Requiere tratamiento contra xilófagos. Desgaste. Necesita repintado. Algunos desperfectos. Medidas: 86 x 152 x 76 cm. Escritorio chino de singular diseño, perteneciente a la dinastía Qing. La belleza natural de la madera utilizada se realza e integra en un diseño funcional. Seis cajones (con tiradores circulares insertados en su frente con gran economía expresiva) se distribuyen simétricamente, y se acompañan de dos registros más destinados a albergar papelería: bajo la pareja de estantes del nivel intermedio se encuentra aún un tercer nivel, el más bajo, compuesto por una fina tracería. Ésta se desarrolla con motivos triangulares que se alternan en los laterales con balaustres colocados en paralelo. Requiere tratamiento contra xilófagos. Desgaste. Necesita repaso. Algunas faltas.
