Seung-Ho Yang Escultura Gres Hacia 1990 47 cm de altura Seung-Ho Yang, ceramista de origen coreano, sitúa su obra en el punto de encuentro entre la tradición del gres del Lejano Oriente y la escultura contemporánea. Esta obra de la década de 1990, de casi medio metro de altura, prima el volumen y la presencia de la materia por encima de cualquier función utilitaria. La gres, cocida a alta temperatura, conserva en ella la densidad y los matices que le confieren la tierra y el fuego. Una escultura de gran sobriedad, en la que la forma parece surgir de la propia materia, en la línea de una cerámica atenta al silencio y a la lentitud.
