Eduard Weichberger, Paisaje de principios de primavera cerca de Eisenach (?). 1908. Eduard Weichberger, 1843 Krauthausen (Eisenach) – 1913 Weimar Óleo sobre lienzo. En la esquina inferior derecha Firmado y fechado «E. Weichberger 1908». En el reverso, etiqueta adhesiva de la «Galería de Arte de Weimar F. Feuerstein y descendientes». Probablemente con el marco original de estilo Art Nouveau. Véase sobre el artista: Gerda Wendermann (ed.): «Hinaus in die Natur. Barbizon, la escuela de pintura de Weimar y el inicio del impresionismo». Fundación Clásica de Weimar. Bielefeld 2010. Págs. 136 y ss. y 157 y ss. El lienzo presenta una pequeña deformación en la esquina inferior izquierda. Marco con grietas en el estuco, golpes alrededor de los bordes exteriores, marcas de oxidación propias de su antigüedad y ingletes abiertos. Dimensiones: 100 x 75 cm; marco: 124 x 99 cm. Eduard Weichberger 1843 Krauthausen (Eisenach) – 1913 Weimar Estudió durante un breve periodo en la Escuela Politécnica de Dresde. Entre 1860 y 1866 cursó estudios en la Escuela de Bellas Artes de Weimar. Medalla de plata en Melbourne en 1888 y en Londres en 1893.
