Firmado y fechado en la esquina inferior derecha: «1920. Valdemar Kornerup». En un marco dorado con reborde. La capa pictórica presenta un ligero craquelado. Rastros aislados en forma de gota en el barniz. El marco presenta golpes en las esquinas y los bordes. Dimensiones: 46 x 54 cm; marco: 57,5 x 65,5 cm. Valdemar Kornerup 1865 Copenhague – 1924, probablemente en la misma ciudad. Formación inicial a cargo de su padre, un diseñador gráfico. 1881-1885: estudios en la Academia de Bellas Artes de Copenhague. 1887-1888: viaje a Francia e Italia; 1890: a Italia, España y Grecia; 1895: de nuevo a Italia. 1898: primer viaje de estudios a Noruega, donde se trasladó a vivir entre 1899 y 1902.
