DOS ENCUADERNACIONES QUE CONTENÍAN LAS MEDALLAS DE ORO ENTREGADAS POR LA ACADEMIA DE DEPORTES A JEAN MERMOZ De cuero marrón decorado con dorados en los bordes de los frisos y con la inscripción en las tapas: «LA ACADEMIA DE DEPORTES A JEAN MERMOZ» (una de ellas fechada en 1934) a) Una con concesión del 31 de mayo de 1934, por su doble travesía del Atlántico Sur a bordo del Arc en ciel —Dakar-Natal— Natal-Dakar— 1933. Firma del presidente. La medalla se encuentra en un estuche de terciopelo verde. b) Una con concesión del 9 de marzo de 1935, por sus seis travesías aéreas del Atlántico Sur a bordo del «Arc en ciel» – 1934. Firma del presidente. La medalla se conserva en terciopelo verde. Dos estuches que albergaban las medallas de oro concedidas a Jean Mermoz por la Académie des Sports Procedencia: - Jean Mermoz (1901-1936); - Gabrielle Gillet-Mermoz (1880-1955); - Posteriormente, en la familia por herencia
