Las figuras de mármol de Canova que representan a los boxeadores Creugas y Damoxeno se exhiben actualmente en el Cortile Ottagono (Patio Octogonal) de los Museos Vaticanos. Esta obra, que data de 1800, se inspira en la historia de su combate narrada por Pausanias en su obra «Periegesis de Grecia» («Descripción de Grecia»).
