Uno de los 50 ejemplares de cabeza, enriquecido con una litografía original firmada y numerada (n.º 14). Dedicatoria autógrafa firmada: A Gisèle Freund Un saludo, S Recuerdo de un autor … aplastado por este volumen H. Michaux La litografía también lleva una dedicatoria autógrafa «para Gisèle Freund». Gisèle Freund (1908-2000) formó parte, junto con Brassaï, Claude Cahun y Paul Facchetti, del reducido grupo de fotógrafos a los que Michaux toleraba: ella le hizo unos retratos que han pasado a la historia (véanse los n.º 130 y 131).
