WALTER EISLER (1954, Leipzig [nacido como Walter Heisig] - 2015, ibídem) La ciudad en llamas, 1991 Óleo sobre lienzo. 130 x 80 cm. Moldura del artista. Firmado en la esquina inferior izquierda. En el reverso, titulado, firmado y fechado (pintado de blanco), así como parcialmente recortado (aprox. 8 cm). Walter Eisler, hijo de Bernhard Heisig y hermano de Johannes Heisig, estudió en la Escuela Superior de Artes Gráficas y del Libro de Leipzig, entre otros, con su padre, Arno Rink y Wolfgang Peuker. En «Die Feuerstadt» (La ciudad en llamas), con la Escuela de Leipzig como telón de fondo, la experiencia de la época de la reunificación se condensa en una imagen expresiva del cambio radical. El espantapájaros inmóvil se alza sobre un paisaje urbano en desintegración, representado con colores turbulentos.
