Pair of armchairs; Spain, 1950s. Wood. They show wear in the upholstery. Measurements: 77 x 55 x 70 cm (x2). Pair of armchairs with wooden structure and upholstery in white fabric. The exposed wood traces a right angle in the armrests, describing a same line with the front legs, so that the soft and enveloping leather seat is balanced with this modern structure. However, the clean lines are softened by the warmth of a wood that shows off its qualities and grain. They show wear on the upholstery.

Measurements: 74 x 240 x 82 cm. Seat height 43 cm. Spacious three-seater armchair designed by Illum Wikkelsø and manufactured by Ryesberg Furniture, characterized by a structure reduced to its essence entirely upholstered in brown patinated leather. It stands on tubular legs with a circular base that add lightness to the structure. Illum Wikkelsø was one of the most renowned Danish designers, despite being one of the least known. It is known that he graduated from the School of Arts and Crafts in Copenhagen, and that he worked for Jacob Kjaer and for the architectural firm of Peter Hvidt and Orla Molgaard-Nielso, where he left his mark on Danish furniture design, which came to spread around the world.
