224 - INDO-PERSIAN ARTWORK. Round Quranic amulet medallion made of blue agate, set in a brass frame with an openwork loop. The obverse features epigraphic inscriptions in the Thuluth style, engraved in the blue stone and gilded, corresponding to Surah Al-Fatiha, the first surah of the Quran known as “The Opening.” The metal reverse is adorned with intertwined Arabic calligraphy drawn from verses 26–27 of Surah Al-Imran, evoking divine sovereignty and omnipotence. Signs of wear. Diameter: 6 cm
