Large, fine, silky Cesarée, Turkey Circa 1965–1970 Mercerized cotton velvet on a cotton backing. Sky-blue field decorated with a large central floral medallion in ivory, salmon pink, and midnight blue, shaped like a stylized diamond and framed by two palmettes in the same colors, shaped like stylized turtle shells. Main beige border featuring interlacing motifs of fine, crenellated stems forming rings and floral bulbs in pastel tones. Length: 222 cm. Width: 149 cm. (Rug in need of cleaning).
