A rectangular SECRETARY desk with a decorative finish of satinwood, rosewood, and palisander veneer. It features a drawer veneered with an interlaced frieze and a drop-down panel veneered with a floral basket motif. The flap conceals a compartment with four small drawers. The two doors, decorated with cube-patterned marquetry, conceal a compartment with a shelf. The cabinet features a beveled front adorned with fluting and finished with a curved base. It is decorated with bronze elements such as drops, astragals, drop-down elements, and clogs. The top is made of a separate piece of veined white marble. A piece from the early 20th century in the Louis XV–Louis XVI transitional style. Height: 144 cm. Depth: 40.5 cm. Width: 97 cm. Note: Beautifully crafted period cabinetwork.
