In-8, paperback, printed cover in black and red. 207 pages. Cover faded and slightly frayed. Subscription form imprint on the first 4 pages. First edition. One of the press copies (S.P. perforations). Autographed by the author on the title page: “copy inserted with a study sheet intended for Mr. ? (name scratched out) / Michel Butor / Paris, November 27, 1964.” It is accompanied by this typewritten study sheet, annotated by the author and pasted opposite the title page (1 typewritten in-4 page in red and black). Complete with the loose subscription form. Clean and fresh interior.
