[1950] In-8 booklet, stapled, cover illustrated with two photographs reproduced in black and white. 8 unnumbered folios, 16 photographs by Brassaï reproduced by heliogravure. Scuffing on the spine and edges; publisher’s name scratched off at the bottom of the cover. First edition of this remarkable series of 16 photographs of female nudes captured by Brassaï and reproduced as heliogravures. It constitutes the first (and only) issue of this journal dedicated to the study of the human form for artists, painters, and sculptors. Rare.
