Art by Morris and story by René Goscinny. Originally published as a graphic novel in 1960, *The Oklahoma Land Rush* takes Lucky Luke into the heart of the famous land rush of 1889, when part of the Oklahoma Territory was opened up for settlement. Tasked with maintaining order among the thousands of pioneers, our hero must confront cheaters, speculators, and adventurers drawn by the prospect of new land. This comic book is one of the great successes of the collaboration between Morris and Goscinny, blending humor, adventure, and satire of the conquest of the American West. The cover depicts Lucky Luke on Jolly Jumper, holding a revolver and a canteen, in front of a caravan of pioneers whose silhouettes stand out against a blue sky. Condition: Good copy. The front cover features bright, well-preserved colors, with a few slight signs of handling and minor scuffing at the corners. The back cover shows a slight patina and subtle signs of wear. The interior is slightly yellowed, with no major apparent flaws.
