DISNEY (Walt). — The Three Naughty Little Wolves. Paris, Librairie Hachette, [1937]. In-4 album, publisher’s illustrated color cardboard binding, blue cloth spine. The front cover depicts the Big Bad Wolf teaching his three sons a lesson in front of a poster featuring the three little pigs. An early edition of this French adaptation of the Walt Disney universe, following on from the adventures of The Three Little Pigs. The story features the Big Bad Wolf’s three sons, whom their father tries to teach his bad habits, while Nif-Nif and Nouf-Nouf continue to fear their former adversary. Black-and-white and color illustrations throughout the text. Copyright notice on the back of the half-title page: “Copyright 1937 by Walt Disney Mickey Mouse S.A., with special permission from Walt Disney.” Hardcover slightly scuffed, with some signs of wear on the corners and caps. Covers show soiling and slight discoloration. Yellowed paper. Pages not collated.
