DISNEY (Walt). — The Three Little Pigs. Paris, Librairie Hachette, 1942. In-4 album, publisher’s color-illustrated cardboard binding, blue cloth spine. Front cover depicting the three little pigs playing their instruments while the big bad wolf watches. Early edition of this French adaptation of Walt Disney’s famous animated short, *Three Little Pigs*, produced in 1933 and now considered one of the great classics of the *Silly Symphonies* series. The book recounts the adventures of Nifnif, Nouf-Nouf, and Nafnaf, accompanied by illustrations inspired by the animated film. The page preceding the text bears the notation: “Copyright 1942 by Librairie Hachette.” Hardcover with scuffing and soiling; corners and caps slightly worn. Cloth spine intact. Paper uniformly yellowed. Pages not collated.
