ROBA (Jean). — Boule and Bill. Do You Remember, Bill? Marcinelle, Dupuis, 1980. In-4 album, publisher’s color-illustrated hardcover, square spine. First edition of the seventeenth Boule and Bill album, entirely illustrated by Jean Roba. This album continues and concludes the retrospective of previously unpublished gags begun in the previous volume, *Souvenirs de famille*. In particular, it includes the last complete Boule and Bill story, created specifically for an issue of *Spirou-Vacances* in 1968, as well as a selection of gags and stories published in *Spirou* between 1963 and 1966. The book also contains a bibliographic curiosity: a page created in 1966 for the Mutuelle nationale des étudiants de France (MNEF), distributed outside of commercial channels and rarely reproduced. The orange-yellow cover depicts Boule and Bill sitting on a bench, flipping through their own comic book, with the caption “Unpublished gags in this comic book!” in the upper right corner. The yellow back cover is illustrated with the covers of the first sixteen comic books in the series. Copyright 1980. ISBN 2-8001-0689-1. A very fine copy, with a glossy hardcover and fresh colors, showing no apparent flaws.
