Charlotte PERRIAND (1903–1999) & Pierre JEANNERET (1896–1967) Base unit of a bookcase with legs forming a sideboard, circa 1947. Made of ash-veneered slatted wood with a quadrangular body, opening via two sliding doors on the front panel finished in mahogany veneer with profiled handles, resting on two block legs joined by a stylized crossbar. H.: 62 cm; W.: 124.5 cm; D.: 27 cm. Produced by Équipement de la maison. Signs of wear, a few chips in the veneer, and scratches. Provenance: Acquired by Mrs. X from Équipement de la maison, located at 4 Rue Marcel-Peretto in Grenoble. Passed down through the family.
