Charlotte PERRIAND (1903–1999) Chair, Model No. 20, known as “Tout bois,” circa 1947. Made of ash and ash veneer, with a thick, slightly concave circular seat and a hollowed-out trapezoidal backrest, resting on three tapered legs mounted at an angle. H.: 71.5 cm; W.: 36.5 cm; D.: 40 cm. Produced by Équipement de la maison. Signs of wear; veneer missing on the seat. Provenance: Acquired by Mrs. X from Équipement de la maison, located at 4 Rue Marcel-Peretto in Grenoble. Passed down through the family.
