MARTHA RODRÍGUEZ (Caracas, Venezuela, 1956). Untitled. Diptych, 2015. Print mounted on acrylic. P.A. copies. Signed, dated, and numbered on the reverse. Measurements: 30 x 30 cm (x2). Martha Rodríguez is a Franco-Venezuelan visual artist and graphic designer whose work explores the relationship between light, space, volume, and matter from a constructivist perspective. She began her training at the Neumann-Ince Institute of Design in Caracas and completed it in Paris at the National Higher School of Decorative Arts (ENSAD) and the Higher School of Graphic Arts (ESAG). With an international career spanning more than twenty solo exhibitions and eighty group shows, she has presented her work in Europe, the Americas, and the Middle East. Among his major accolades are the First Prize at the Second Guadalajara Sculpture Biennial (Mexico, 2011) for his monumental work *Rebozos*, and the Caixa Nova Printmaking Prize (Spain, 2005). His body of work encompasses painting, sculpture, and experimentation with materials such as glass, wood, and metal, integrating art and architecture into monumental and public-space projects. Notable among these is his artistic intervention at the Cementerio del Este in Caracas. His work is part of permanent public collections, such as that of the Museum of Geometric and MADI Art in Dallas (United States). His career reflects a constant dialogue between European and Latin American cultures, consolidating a distinctive artistic language with international reach.
