Edition of 100 copies, 10 P.A. and 10 F.C. Silkscreen prints produced at Erik Kirksäther’s studio. Ediciones SEN, “Ovejas al lobo” collection. Edited by Eugenia de Suñer; designed by Txomin Salazar. June 1996. Signed and numbered by the authors on the edition’s colophon. Includes original publisher’s cover. Measurements: 30 x 24 cm. With one copy added to the Reina Sofía Museum’s collection in 2021, *Diario de una mujer atada* is a particularly well-documented example of Equipo Límite’s graphic work. The collection, published in 1996 as part of the “Ovejas al lobo” series, brings together five silkscreen prints by the collective and a short story by Boris Izaguirre, establishing a dialogue between image and literature around stereotypes and representations of femininity. The work also belongs to the period known as Party Mix (1994–1998) within the collective’s body of work. Through saturated colors and the appropriation of images drawn from advertising, eroticism, comics, and popular culture, the artists construct compositions that are deliberately direct and ironic. This approach ties into recurring themes in their body of work, such as the reexamination of female role models, feminism, and sexual freedom. Equipo Límite was composed of Carmen Roig Castillo (Cari) and Esperanza Casa Guillén (Cuqui Guillén), who studied at the San Carlos School of Fine Arts in Valencia and worked together from 1987 to 2002. Their career was recognized with awards such as the Alfons Roig Fellowship and a grant from the Pollock-Krasner Foundation, and their work is represented in collections such as the Salvador Allende Solidarity Museum, the “la Caixa” Foundation, and the Chirivella Soriano Foundation.
