Map | Schiesl, Ferdinand 1775 Munich – 1811 Ibid. Munich, Map of the Theresienwiese from 1810: "Map of the Racetrack from October 17, 1810 – THERESENS WIESE". Lithograph · 32.2 x 33 cm (image size). Signed and dated at the bottom center of the plate: Schiesl 1810. Framed with glass. Note: The map was a supplement to the small volume published in 1811 by Andreas Michael von Dall’Armi (1765–1842), who organized those very celebrations, titled "The Horse Race on the Occasion of the Wedding Celebrations of His Royal Highness the Crown Prince of Bavaria." The booklet was published in a very limited edition. This makes the map not only one of the earliest depictions of the Theresienwiese, but also extremely rare.
