99-1 - A beautiful 124-piece silver plated cutlery set by the silversmith CHRISTOFLE, in the Art Deco style, "Boréal" model, including: 12 fish forks - 12 fish knives - 12 cake forks - 12 teaspoons - 12 dessert spoons - 12 dessert forks - 10 dessert or cheese knives - 11 tablespoons - 10 table forks - 11 table knives - 12 serving pieces, including 1 soup ladle, 1 fish server, 1 salad server, 1 carving set, 1 serving spoon, 1 cream spoon, 1 pie server, and 1 sugar tongs. In very good condition, no tarnish, no chips. Created based on a design by Luc LANEL around 1929, the “Boréal” model was first presented at the 1937 International Exhibition of Arts and Techniques for Modern Life in Paris. "Boréal" remains part of the collection of five "vintage" models still produced by CHRISTOFLE.
