CHINA, 19th century Set of four porcelain snuff boxes comprising: one in a scroll shape decorated with polychrome enamel figures, bearing an apocryphal four-character Qianlong mark on the base; a large scroll-shaped snuffbox decorated in cobalt blue and copper red with a palace scene, bearing a six-character Yongzheng mark on the base; a small, oval-shaped snuffbox decorated with dragons chasing the sacred pearl in polychrome enamels on a blue background, with a Daoguang mark beneath the base; a baluster-shaped vase with a flattened profile, covered in a speckled turquoise glaze known as “robin’s egg,” with a four-character Hall mark on the base; Height: between 6 and 8.5 cm (Two with missing lids) Provenance: - Collection from southern France
