[MILITARIA] - Collection of military medals and certificates awarded to Captain Espinasse (1875–1943), including: - Order of the Ouissam Alaouite of Moulay Youssef (1917) - Commemorative Medal of the Italian Campaign of Napoleon III - Medal of the Chinese Campaign (55 Days of Peking), awarded in 1900 - Cross of the Legion of Honor (1918) - Two Moroccan colonial medals - Order of the Dragon of Annam (1912) As is, there are a few missing pieces or slight warping Included are the certificates of the recipient, Mr. Denis Espinasse (Ouissam Alaouite, Legion of Honor, Dragon of Annam), along with photographs of the officer wearing his decorations, and an autograph letter from General LYAUTEY (1854–1934), Resident-General of Morocco, to General Poeymireau regarding Denis Espinasse, dated March 28, 1919. "You have specifically recommended Captain Espinasse to me, who has rendered such excellent service, particularly at Tassint..."
