Central European school of the 17th-18th century. "Music with lute". Sculpture in carved and polychrome wood. It shows wear, lack of polychrome and slight faults. Measurements: 62 x 40 x 40 cm. The protagonist of this baroque carving holds a lute in her hands. The instrument symbolizes music itself, the beauty and harmony of sound, as well as melancholy (its soft and sometimes nostalgic sound, together with the contemplative posture required for its execution, made it a symbol of inner reflection, contained sadness or loneliness in the Baroque period).
