[UNION OF RUSSIAN ARTISTS]. Bal Banal. [Paris], 1924. — Poster, 830 x 283 mm. A rare program poster for the Bal Banal, held at the Salle Bullier on March 14, 1924, by the Union of Russian Artists in Paris to benefit its mutual aid fund, organized primarily by Nathalie Gontcharova and Michel Larionov. It is illustrated with a composition by Nathalie Gontcharova depicting two young women wearing Russian headdresses, in the spirit of Russian folk art, which was central to her work. The copy is complete and has generous margins, but it is fragile, creased, and has a few tears along the edges.
