[TYTGAT (Edgard)]. - LEBEER (Louis). Edgard Tytgat, Engraver. Brussels: Éditions Nébé, [1937]. — In-8, 237 x 150: (16 ff.), 1 plate, illustrated cover. Paperback. First edition of this booklet devoted to the engraved works of the Belgian painter, illustrator, and engraver Edgard TYTGAT (1879–1957). It includes 25 black-and-white reproductions—one on the cover, 23 full-page, and one as a tailpiece—as well as a color reproduction as a separate insert. The book features a preface by Louis Leeber, curator of the Print Room in Brussels. One of the first 25 copies—this one bearing the number 1—enriched with an original print on Japanese paper, signed by the artist; it is titled “Le Déjeuner.” A very well-preserved copy, despite some foxing on the color reproduction.
