JEANNE LANVIN-CASTILLO Black headband with a plumetis veil After Jeanne Lanvin’s death in 1946, the fashion house continued under the leadership of her daughter, Marie-Blanche de Polignac. In 1950, Spanish fashion designer Antonio del Castillo took over as creative director and breathed new life into the house. Until 1963, he developed an elegant, architecturally inspired style characterized by sophisticated cuts, luxurious fabrics, and a sculptural femininity, staying true to Jeanne Lanvin’s legacy.
