JEANNE LANVIN-CASTILLO Fur toque, adorned with a grosgrain ribbon dyed to match 1950s (Minor signs of wear) Following Jeanne Lanvin’s death in 1946, the fashion house continued under the leadership of her daughter, Marie-Blanche de Polignac. In 1950, Spanish fashion designer Antonio del Castillo took over as creative director and breathed new life into the house. Until 1963, he developed an elegant, architecturally inspired style characterized by sophisticated cuts, luxurious fabrics, and a sculptural femininity, carrying on Jeanne Lanvin’s legacy.
