JAPAN - 19th century Metal kabuto warrior's helmet, with rat-shaped maedate on a gold-lacquered half-moon background, and metal visor. The gold-lacquered fukigaeshi (face protectors) are curved towards the back, laced with beige silk cords and adorned with small fern motif plates. The shikoro (neck guard) has three movable blades and blue, beige and multicolored cords. The cord is made of orange padded fabric. (wear, restorations... ) 31x36 cm
