CHINA - Circa 1900 Hand-embroidered silk panel depicting a pair of roosters beneath a flowering branch. Created with colored silk threads on a cream-colored silk background, the composition features two roosters with rich plumage standing among flowering branches and grasses. Above them, a flowering branch laden with pale pink blossoms extends across the upper right portion of the panel. An inscription and a red seal appear in the upper left corner. The silk panel is mounted on a cotton backing and framed in a simple hardwood frame. Dimensions: Frame: width 149.3 cm; height 57.8 cm. Silk panel: width 103.1 cm; height 48.7 cm.
