Paul PREVOT (1879–1961). “Baptiste at Work,” oil on panel, unsigned, annotated on the reverse of the panel (32.5 x 40.5 cm) Born in Villers-Guislain, Paul PREVOT trained at the École des Beaux-Arts in Roubaix, then at the École des Beaux-Arts in Paris in 1906, where he studied under Léon Bonnat and Luc Olivier Merson. Some of his works are housed at the Cambrai Chamber of Commerce or at the Gouzeaucourt Town Hall.
