PROVENANCE: Auction of Master Christian Delorme, November 4, 1976, at the Hôtel Drouot, Room 9. - Covered incense burner in pale green serpentine, molded and carved, with two handles shaped as dragon heads featuring movable rings, and resting on three clawed feet with chimera heads. The lid is crowned with a dragon and features three small butterfly-shaped handles with movable rings. Wooden base. Height of figure: 15 cm - Total height: 18.7 cm. One ring on the lid is missing.
