CHINA and Miscellaneous Set of 9 hardstone and miscellaneous figurines: - Woman with a fan, made of serpentine. Height: 22 cm. - 2 Fo dogs. Height: 13 cm - 2 fish, one in serpentine and the other in crystal, 10 and 12 cm. - Crystal Puttai. Height: 8.5 cm. - Woman with foliage branches, made of amethyst. Height: 14 cm. - Woman with raised arm, made of coral. Height: 18 cm. - Grape cluster. 20th-century work. = Chips and missing pieces. Since this specimen has undergone mechanical alteration through polishing, cutting, turning, or faceting, it is listed in Appendix III of the Washington Convention (CITES) and in Appendix C of EC Regulation 338/97 of December 9, 1996. Commercial use of this specimen is permitted in the EU because the material is not raw but has been worked into jewelry. For any potential export, it is the responsibility of the winning bidder to check with the customs authorities of the relevant country—particularly the United States—prior to purchasing this lot containing coral. To take the item out of the EU, a CITES re-export permit will be required, the cost of which is the responsibility of the future purchaser.
