CHINA, 20th century Set of seven snuff bottles: - three made of silver plated or patinated metal, inlaid with turquoise, coral, and so-called “Tibetan” glass cabochons, decorated with water lilies and fish, birds, or figures in applied wooden bas-reliefs. - one made of brown horn with a Silver plated metal mount and blue glass cabochons. - one made of oxidized copper in the shape of an elephant. - one in the shape of a double gourd made of gray agate, with a Silver plated metal mount and malachite and coral cabochons (several missing). - One made of molded and glazed porcelain, decorated with figures. Metal bands. Clear glass cabochon. Height: 5 to 8 cm. = Wear, scratches, chips, missing pieces; oxidation.
